Vigil planned outside Israeli drone factory

A peace vigil is due to take place tomorrow (Tuesday 25 October 2011 12 noon) at Shenstone UAV engine factory, near Lichfield. The factory is an Israeli owned factory that makes the engines for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (drones) - like those used to kill and maim people in Gaza and now used in Afghanistan and elsewhere.

The vigil, organised by Friends of Sabeel, West Midlands and Pax Christi will be followed by a half hour service in the nearby Methodist Church. The speaker will be Chris Coles of the National Drones network and former Director Fellowship of Reconciliation.
