London: first anniversary celebrations for Ordinariate
A celebration to mark the first anniversary of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham, will take place this Sunday, 15 January at 5pm, when Mgr Keith Newton presides at Solemn Evensong, a Procession of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction at St James', Spanish Place (Organised by Fr Christopher Pearson and the Marylebone Ordinariate Group at St James' by kind permission of Fr Christopher Colven).
Mgr Newton will also preach and a reception will be held after the service.
A note from the Ordinariate said: "The evening will be an opportunity for members of the Ordinariate, friends, well-wishers - Catholic and Anglican - to come together to give thanks to God for the many blessings we have received in the last twelve months. The music will be drawn from the rich treasury of the Anglican choral tradition and all are welcome to come along and join in this great celebration."
