Ordinariate: Nine new priests ordained this month
Nine former Anglican clergy in England and Scotland are being ordained to the priesthood for the Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham throughout September. On Saturday, 1 September, three Deacons: Rev Kenneth Berry, Rev Paul Gibbons and Rev Donald Minchew were ordained by Archbishop Peter Smith in St Mary's Church, West Croydon.
Next week, Rev Stanley Bennie is being ordained to the priesthood at St Columba’s Cathedral, Oban, on Tuesday 11 September at 12 noon.
On Saturday, 22 September, at 12 noon, two deacons, Rev Brian Copus and Rev John Maunder will be ordained at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Bournemouth. On the same day, two more deacons, Rev Christopher Cann and Rev William Gull will be ordained at 6.30pm in Nottingham Cathedral.
Finally, Rev David Stafford, is being ordained on Sunday, 30 September at 10.30am in the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes in Hakenthorpe, Yorkshire.
