Appeal for Cliff Richards to sing for Christians in Bethlehem
As a big Cliff Richards fan - I was thrilled to see him sing at World Youth Day in Germany in 2005 - where Pope Benedict came too - I am very sorry to hear that he is just going to sing in Tel Aviv in Israel - where there are very few Christians.
If he is going to go to the Holy Land he MUST be a peacemaker and go to Bethlehem - the birthplace of Jesus and home to descendants of the first Christians - who are all Palestinian.
In Bethlehem and the West Bank there are many Christians who would love to hear him sing - especially his wonderful Christian songs.
Cliff could act as a real peacemaker and bridge builder between the Israelis and Palestinians in the Holy Land.
Sadly, at the moment, very few Christians will have a chance to see Cliff perform, because they are not allowed to travel to Israel from the West Bank or more from Gaza. The Christians in Gaza are trapped behind a high wall and will miss this concert.
Please Cliff - either cancel the Tel Aviv concert or go to Bethlehem and sing for the Christians there.
God Bless
