Bishop Dowling

South African Bishop Kevin Dowling, head of the Tapologo project in Rustenburg, will be one of the key speakers along with Bishop Pat Lynch, Chair of the Office for Migration Policy, Bruce Kent, Vice-President of Pax Christi and Sisters from the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary at the Salvation Army headquarters in Oxford Street on Saturday 19 October.

The event, organised by the Justice and Peace Assembly, takes place a day before World Mission Sunday, the one day in the Church calendar when Catholics all over the world pray for missionaries and give generously for the good of the universal Church.

The event is free and open to all who are interested in hearing more about the work of the Church overseas. There will be tea and talks on 19 October at 10am until 4.45pm, at the Salvation Army centre, 275 Oxford Street, London W1C 2DJ.
