Lenten music and meditations for Syria's Christians


A Lenten Witness on behalf of Christians suffering the Way of the Cross in Syria will take place at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Mount Street, London, at 7pm on 8 April.

There will be talks by Lord David Alton of Liverpool and John Pontifex from Aid to the Church in Need and a selection of classical Motets for the season of Lent from the Schola Cantorum of the London Oratory School.

The Musical Director for the evening with be Charles Cole.

Entry is free, however there will be a collection for Aid to the Church in Need’s work for children and families who have been made refugees through the conflict in Syria. Refreshments will follow in the hall.
