Westminster J&P to host open meeting on UK's nuclear weapon system
In 2016, the British government will be deciding whether to replace the Trident submarine fleet, the UK's independent nuclear weapons system. An open meeting to discuss this issue will take place at 7.30pm this Wednesday, at St John Vianney Parish Centre, West Green Road, London, N15 3QH.
Hosted by the Westminster Justice and Peace Commission in conjunction with the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament and Pax Christi, the main speaker will be Bruce Kent, who is currently on a country-wide speaking tour entitled: 'No Faith in Trident'.
