Knights of Malta open health centre in northern Iraq

As part of its mission to support Iraq's displaced Christians, the Knights of Malta, Germany have opened a new health centre in Ankawa, in the north of the country. The centre, which costs 89,000USD, will contain six clinics, a theatre for minor operations and a pharmacy.
St Joseph medical centre was officially inaugurated by Archbishop Bashar Warda of the Chaldean Catholic Church on Sunday 2 November, 2014.
The centre will provide primary health services for the displaced families. It will be run by volunteer medical staff and Sisters of the Holy Cross from India.
