A heartwarming ad from retail giant Amazon, which will be shown in cinemas and on TV up to Christmas, tells a story of an Anglican Vicar and a Muslim Imam who are old friends. They meet for a cup of tea and discover that they share the same problem. The next day the Vicar has a moment of inspiration and decides to do something to make the Imam's life and work a little easier. What the Vicar doesn't know, is the Imam has hit on the same idea for his friend.
Although the ad is scripted, its stars are real religious leaders. The priest is Rev Gary Bradley, a London vicar who also serves as Chaplain to the Lord Mayor of Westminster. The imam is Zubeir Hassam, principal of the Muslim School Oadby, in Leicester.
