Send a message to Palestine this Christmas
Comment Email Print

Once again this Christmas the ecumenical charity Kairos is asking you to send a message of support and solidarity to Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza.

At the end of a year where political turmoil has ruled our world, life is more uncertain than ever in Palestine. Settlements are being built with abandon, with no international reprisal. The demolition of Palestinian homes and buildings has hit unprecedented figures. Gaza continues to decline under blockade, where poverty and instability prevail. This year has also seen a marked increase in the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank, and Israeli civilians killed or injured in knife attacks.

Despite this, the word of faith, hope and love from our Christian brothers and sisters in Palestine still stands strong. They are choosing the path of non-violent, creative resistance, based on the logic of love. Let's stand with them at this critical time, and show them our love, solidarity and support.
