Cardinal Sarah

The London Oratory Schola begins the new year with a new patron. In a message they say: "We are delighted and honoured to be able to announce that Robert Cardinal Sarah, the Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, has graciously accepted our invitation to become a Patron of the Schola.

"He attended the Schola's concert for Sacra Liturgia in July 2016. He joins Her Royal Highness Princess Michael of Kent and composer Sir James MacMillan CBE who are existing patrons.

The Cardinal's letter of acceptance can be read here and we are delighted to have his esteemed support."

Choral Services resume at the 6pm Vigil Mass at Brompton Oratory this Saturday 7 January 2017.
