London: LGBT Catholics Lenten Retreat Day
Comment Email Print

A Lenten Retreat Day, welcoming |LGBT Catholics, parents, families and friends, will be held on 11 March 2017, 11am- 4pm, Upper Room, 114 Mount Street, Mayfair, London W1K 3AH. The Retreat Day will be led by David Hothersall, who is trained in Ignatian spirituality and is a member of the LGBT Catholics Westminster Pastoral Council.

Ignatian spirituality encourages us to encounter the person of Christ through the use of "imaginative contemplation", and the day will include a session of guided prayer around a number of Gospel passages and some sharing in small groups. This an excellent opportunity to take some time off as we reflect, pray and review what Lent means for each one of us.

Spaces are limited so please register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Please bring some food to share. Teas and coffees will be provided. All are welcome and we look forward to seeing you.
