Asthma awareness open evening

Leading asthma specialist Dr Stephen R Durham will be speaking at a special asthma awareness evening at Nicholas Breakspear School in St Albans on 16 March, from 7-9pm. Dr Durham is Head of Section for Allergy and Clinical Immunology at Imperial College and Professor of Allergy and Respiratory Medicine at Royal Brompton Hospital London.

The evening will be of particular interest to all people with asthma or allergies and those who are associated with asthma and allergy sufferers in any way, including parents, carers, friends, school teachers and health care professionals.

The event is being presented by the Alex Curtis Memorial Trust. Alex Curtis was a brilliant student at Nicholas Breakspear School who died suddenly from an acute asthmatic attack in February 2007 at the age of just 17 years. For more information see: www.alexcurtistrust.org/
