Congregation of Sacred Hearts launch new website

St Damien of Molokai

The Congregation of the Sacred Hearts (SS.CC) has launched a new website for its Ireland-England province. One of the most well-known members of the order was St Damien, the leper-priest of Molokai.

The Congregation which was started in Poitier, in France in 1800 has both a male a female founder: Fr Pierre Coudrin and Henriette Aymer de la Chevalrie, who met at the height of the French Revolution when the Church was suffering severe persecution.
