Ann Widdecombe protests over 'a Cardinal error'

In her column in the Daily Express, retired Catholic MP Ann Widdecombe has spoken up on behalf of the campaign we ran earlier this year to save the Cardinal Pub. In her article entitled: A CARDINAL ERROR TO IGNORE LETTER, she writes:

'The company just ignored the letter and petition from the organisers.. Eleven hundred people signed a petition to Samuel Smith’s, a brewery company in Yorkshire which owns The Cardinal pub near Westminster Cathedral in London, asking it not to change the name to The Windsor Castle.'
