Letter from Camillian Home in Bangkok
Floodwater levels have risen dangerously in Thailand - as a result Bangkok's Don Muang domestic airport is now closed. We have received news from one project working there - the Camillian Home in Lat Krabang near Bangkok, a care home for disabled children with HIV/Aids. They write:
"Camillian Home and the local community are being drastically affected from the rise in water levels. Our area has been selected as a distribution point for excess water coming from the north so the risk of additional flooding remains for the next few weeks.Our day care children and their families are also facing a very stressful situation as most live in low lying areas and have no means to come to our home to receive the care they need."
