London: major ecumenical event on marriage

Up to 1000 people will be gathering in central London on 7 February, for a free event to proclaim the importance of marriage as the God-ordained union between one man and one woman for life.
Les Isaac from Street Pastors, Edmund Adamus from the Diocese of Westminster, Steve and Ann Clifford from the Evangelical Alliance, John Fransham from the Bruderhof Community and Harry Benson from Bristol Community Family Trust, will be discussing:
• How Christians can be more active in promoting marriage
• What churches can do to prepare people for marriage and support marriages
• How to prevent marriage breakdown - and many more topics
Talk Marriage is an opportunity to celebrate the continued relevance of marriage in contemporary culture. It will provide practical guidance for those wanting to ensure their marriage is on the right foundation.
The event is free but people need to RSVP. It will start at 6pm at the Emmanuel Centre in central London. The event will also be shown live over the internet- further details about this to follow.
