Young Adults Good Friday Walk in Central London

The Young Adult Ministry group at Farm Street Jesuit Church in Central London are organising their 'Walk the Cross' pilgrimage, and are offering it as a distinctive and prayerful way to mark Good Friday.
The walk, organised by FSPlus, will begin at Maria Assumpta Chapel at Heythrop College, Kensington Square, and will end at Farm Street Jesuit Church in Mayfair, in time for the traditional 3pm Good Friday liturgy.
Heythrop Chaplain, Fr Dave Stewart SJ, says that all former students and members of staff from Heythrop - and anyone else who wants to take part in this special event for Good Friday - will be welcome to join them.
'This pilgrimage revives and adapts a custom of visiting seven churches in Holy Week,' says Dave. 'The first Companions of the Society of Jesus, including Saint Ignatius Loyola and St Francis Xavier plus many others used to observe it. We invite anyone to come and experience Good Friday with other young adults from across London, in a meaningful, consoling and prayerful way.'
The group of walkers will meet at 10am at Heythrop College on Good Friday. Pilgrims are invited to bring a packed lunch for their stop in Hyde Park and appropriate clothing. The walk will end at 3pm at Farm Street Church.
