London: Booking now - Art and Prayer workshops with Karolina Stolarska

Karolina Stolarska will be begin a six week series of reflections and art workshops at the Carmelite Priory in Kensington next month. Entitled 'Self-Giving Love: Human & Divine', the evenings will be based on Theology of the Body and Carmelite writings. Participants will be encouraged to respond through expressive art in a prayerful and mutually supportive atmosphere.

Session themes will be: Communion of Persons: Spousal Love & Self-Gift; Eros as Longing for God; Human love in Creation/Fall/Redemption; Loving as God loves; The Cross as Self-Giving Love; and The Marriage Feast of the Lamb.

All abilities are welcome. Basic painting and collage materials will be provided. Cost - £30. The six sessions over Lent 2013 will be held in the church basement of the Carmelite Priory, Kensington : 41 Kensington Church Street W8 4BB.

Karolina Stolarska has been running/helping to facilitate retreats and workshops combining reflection, catechesis and creativity. She has a background in Philosophy and Theology and art therapy.
