EWTN presenter Raymond Arroyo to speak in Southwark

Raymond Arroyo presents The World Over
Raymond Arroyo, the best-selling New York Times author, news director and lead anchor of EWTN News, the news division of the Eternal Word Television Network, will be coming to the Precious Blood Church at London Bridge on Thursday, 20 June.
The Precious Blood parish is in the care of the Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham. Raymond Arroyo’s visit is part of the celebrations for their Patronal festival. He will give a talk on 'Life at EWTN – the other side of the camera' at 6.30pm. All are invited to come and hear the inside story of the television network – started by American Carmelite Mother Angelica in a garage and now a worldwide popular TV network reaching millions.
Arroyo should have plenty of stories to tell. He is the author of a biography of Mother Angelica, he has interviewed, among others, Cardinal Ratzinger before he became Pope Benedict XVI, and has reported many major Catholic events from Rome and elsewhere. The evening will include a glass of wine and light refreshments.
