London: Advent Art and Prayer at Carmelite Church in Kensington

Incarnation: As Redemption and Transformation is the theme of an evening workshop on 12 December, lead by Karolina Stolarska, who facilitates Art & Prayer sessions using art as a response to input from Scripture and Catholic teaching is an aid to reflection.

Teresa enthusiastically exhorted her spiritual daughters and sons to follow her example and to piously venerate the Child Jesus. The first Carmelites, then, felt the presence of the divine Child as a powerful source of inspiration and protection. This workshop will be an opportunity to reflect on the Incarnation and its transformative effects through expressive art-making in a supportive atmosphere. Karolina has a background in Philosophy and Theology as well as a foundation certificate in Art Therapy.
