London: Art and Prayer workshop exploring theme of joy

The Verbum Dei Spiritual Centre in north London, is hosting a workshop of art and prayer, exploring the theme of joy, next month. Lead by Karolina Stolarska, participants will create art as an aid to reflection, in response to Scripture and Catholic teaching, in a safe and supportive atmosphere.

No techniques will be needed or taught - just a child-like openness to using creativity in reflection and prayer. Basic paint, paper and collage materials will be provided.  Suggested donation: £5

The workshop takes place on Saturday 1 February 2014 from 10am -12 noon in St John Vianney Parish Hall, 386 West Green Road, London N15 3QL
