Film on Jesuits who choose to stay in dangerous places

Fr Frans van der Lugt
Why, despite personal risk, do Jesuits continue to lead and serve in war-torn areas, and what can we learn from their approach? In the past year, two Jesuits were kidnapped and one was killed while living and working in the Middle East. Fr Alexis Prem Kumar, Fr Paolo Dall'Oglio, and Fr Frans van der Lugt were outsiders missioned to this particular type of 'frontier' and, like many, suffered because of their work as leaders.
In this segment, Syrian Jesuit Tony Homsy, SJ - who knew the late Fr Frans - reveals his own hopes & fears as he returns to his home country after a six year absence.
We also hear from an American Jesuit who's been in Amman, Jordan for years, and who argues a different perspective on what it means to be 'on the frontiers.'
