London: International Conference - Celebrating Nostra Aetate
Nostra Aetate (In Our Time) was published by Pope Paul VI 50 years ago this month. Heythrop College, University of London and the Bishops' Conference of England and Wales, are co-sponsoring a three day international conference to celebrate the achievements and challenges in the Church's relations with non-Christian religions since the Second Vatican Council, from Thursday 5 - Saturday 7 November.
Speakers will include Cardinal Walter Kasper, Archbishop Michael Fitzgerald, Archbishop Kevin McDonald, Professor Gavin D'Costa, Professor Sajjad Rizvi, Professor Raymond Cohen, Professor David Neuhaus SJ, Professor Janne Haaland Matlary, Fr Jean Jacques Pérennès OP, Dr Martin Ganeri OP, Dr Damian Howard SJ and Anthony O'Mahony,
