Booking now: Friar Alessandro - ‘the Voice of Assisi’ at St George's Southwark

There will be a rare opportunity to hear Friar Alessandro - ‘the Voice of Assisi’ - in London next Saturday, when he sings in a charity concert at St George's Roman Catholic Cathedral, Southwark, accompanied by pianist Justin Harmer. Soloist Jay Britton will also be performing.
The concert takes place at 7.45pm on 6th May. A collection will be taken during this concert, and the proceeds will be shared by The CAFOD East Africa Crisis Appeal and Caritas Bakihta House supporting women who have escaped human trafficking.
The Archbishop of Southwark, the Most Rev Peter Smith said: "I am delighted that Friar Alessandro has generously agreed to deliver a wonderful concert in the historic building of St George's. His vocation is a great example of how we all can be inspired to live our faith and celebrate the joy of the gospel in the service of others."
