Consecration of Scotland to to Immaculate Heart of Mary

This Sunday, thousands of Scottish Catholics together with the Bishops of Scotland, will be gathering at Carfin, for the Solemn Act of Consecration of Scotland and the Scottish Church to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This historic event will take place during the annual national pilgrimage to Carfin on Sunday 3 September in this, the centenary of the apparitions of Our Lady at Fatima.
Bishop John Keenan of the Diocese of Paisley has invited all parishes to join in with the prayer of Consecration during Masses on Sunday. Many have also been praying a special Novena in the nine days leading to the Act of Consecration.
