Polish Heritage Day in north London

This Saturday, 12 May, there will be a street party outside the Catholic Church of Our Lady of Czestochowa and St Casimir in Devonia Road, Islington, north London.

Her Worship Una O'Halloran, the Mayor of Islington will be opening the day at 12. There will be music and dancing from the Tatry Ensemble, and the parish Saturday School, exhibitions, displays, Polish craft stalls, workshops, tumble, food sampling, , cakes, activities for children and all the family.

At 1pm there will be an organ recital in the church, At 2pm there will be dancing in the street, At 2pm the choir will give a concert in the church. At 3pm there will be a choir recital in the church. Throughout the day there will be guided tours of the church. At 6pm there will be Mass in English.
