North London parish hosts Rush in Ballet

Rush in Ballet presented an evening of classical dance performances and live music at Our Lady Help of Christians in Kentish Town, north London last night.
There was a wonderful mix of dances from Le Corsaire, Swan Lake, Nutcracker and Romeo and Juliet. Tenor Mattias Carbonetti and Natalia Napalkova alto, also sang beautifully. Mattias, who comes from Argentina and also danced in the show, is studying with the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
Rush in Ballet School train at the nearby Kentish Town community centre. The school welcomes students of all ages and levels. Several come from the parish. The youngest performer on the evening was about ten and the oldest, was 82!
