Blessing of St Colette in Nottingham

Just before Christmas, the Poor Clare Colettines from Hawarden moved to Nottingham. Instead of relocating the four sisters in Bulwell from their small built-round city monastery to Wales, the sisters there have now moved in to form together a small committed community of seventeen, living prayer in the city.
The Poor Clare Colettines of the Marian House of the Holy Spirit is behind the church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, in Brooklyn Road, Bulwell NG6 9ET
This new Colettine venture will be celebrating St Colette, heavenly patron of expectant mothers, those who long to conceive a child and sick children. All are welcome at their annual Mass for the Blessing of St Colette, on Saturday, 23 February 2019, at eleven in the morning in the big Church. Everyone is welcome. If you would like to attend but are not able, please email your intentions to community@marianhouseoftheholyspiritpcc.org
