Cinema Club Live Stream: Korda's Cry, The Beloved Country

As part of Black History Month, Sands Films Cinema Club will be hosting an online screening of Zoltan Korda's Cry, The Beloved Country on Tuesday, 20 October.

Entirely shot in South Africa under strict apartheid laws, the actors Sidney Poitier and Canada Lee, as well as producer/director Korda could have been arrested and jailed for this. The film was banned in South Africa.

Testing the stream connection will be around 7.45pm. The presentation will start at 8pm sharp and the film soon after. Join us, send comments and support us if you can.
