St Margaret Clitherow Primary School in Neasden is celebrating new beginnings with a new Headteacher and a new school building. Headteacher Ilira Heath, who took on the role at the start of the school term, welcomed pupils back to school in September to new state of the art facilities.

Pupils have been enjoying the new classrooms that have been expertly designed by architects and educational experts to ensure that each child's learning is maximised. The new classrooms are fully equipped with the latest technology, allowing teachers to offer pupils a full and exciting curriculum.

The new school building houses a well-resourced sensory room and art therapy room for children to explore and develop their emotional wellbeing with highly qualified counselling staff. A new prayer room also allows students and staff to take moments of quiet contemplation.

Commenting on the new school building, Headteacher Ilira Heath said: "Everyone at St Margaret Clitherow is incredibly proud of their new school and the happy, vibrant and purposeful community that staff, governors, parents and children have built together since opening in September 1973.

"Children are at the heart of everything we do and these brand-new facilities will help us to deliver the best outcomes for our pupils. Both children and staff have been delighted with the new building and resources, it's given everyone a much-needed boost during these difficult times."

As well as an exceptional academic curriculum, St Margaret Clitherow School offers outstanding pastoral care and ensures that the children feel loved and well supported.

Pupils excel at all levels and each year are accepted into excellent senior schools. As the school is part of the 'All Saints' Trust', St Margaret Clitherow pupils are given priority Year 7 entry to the outstanding St Gregory's Catholic Science College in Kenton.

Although personal visits are not possible due to the current restrictions, staff warmly invite those interested in learning more about the school to visit the website or to phone the school on 020 8450 363.
