Scotland: Craig Lodge launches Mission House

Craig Lodge Community in Argyll, northwest Scotland, are offering a new opportunity to young Catholics - how to live a life of mission.

Craig Lodge Mission House is a nine-month residential programme for any young adult between the ages of 18-30 who desires to become a passionate lover of Jesus.

"We see this Mission House as our way of responding to the Holy Father's call to form Spirit-filled evangelisers for the renewal of the Church," says Paul Kidd, Mission House Director. "They will experience living in community, praying together each day and studying the beauty of the Catholic faith. They will also learn how to go out to proclaim the Good News to others"

The mission house is situated in Craig Lodge, which sits amidst the breath-taking surroundings of the West Highlands. Set in a rural environment the young adults will be offered the opportunity to experience living in full view of God's glorious creation.

"We are longing to see a generation set on fire with the Holy Spirit and launched into a life of mission," says Ruth Black, Craig Lodge CEO. "The Mission House is going to be a place where young adults can come to know and experience the goodness of God and their identity in Him. We can't wait to get started!"
