Mothering Sunday on Songs of Praise
Venerable Sister Elizabeth Prout - known as the 'Mother Teresa of Manchester will feature in a special Mother Sunday edition of Songs of Praise tomorrow. Sister Anne Hammersley from St Anne and Blessed Dominic Church and the Sisters of the Cross and Passion will be telling her story.
Presenter Brenda Edwards will also be visiting St Elisabeth's, Reddish, Stockport, which is finding new ways to celebrate the day. There will be a piece on parenting in Lockdown with author Ems Hancock at St Philips, a visit to the Chapel Street Community Grocery at The Message Trust and a talk on power of singing in church with conductor and choir leader Audrey Mattis.
