Middlesbrough: Pat Gaffney to lecture on power and creativity of nonviolence

Pat Gaffney, former general secretary of Pax Christi UK, will be giving this year's Anthony Storey Memorial Lecture entitled: Shining a light on the power and creativity of nonviolence - The Catholic Nonviolence Initiative five years on. The online lecture is hosted by Middlesbrough Diocese Justice & Peace Commission. It takes place from 11am-12.30pm on Saturday 8 May 2021.

Pat will reflect on current ways in which nonviolence is being expressed around the world and draw out links between the work of CNI and Fratelli Tutti/Vatican Covid Commission.

The lecture is held every year in memory of Father Anthony Storey, a founding member of Middlesbrough Justice and Peace Commission and a tireless campaigner for peace and justice. ALL WELCOME
