London: Sung Mass in Welsh in honour of St David
A Sung Votive in Welsh will take place this Wednesday at St James' Church, Spanish Place, with music provided by four Welsh choirs and the Band of the Welsh Guards.
The Principal Celebrant will be Fr Gildas (Dylan) Parry, O'Praem - former Editor of Oremus, assisted by Fr Allen R Jones, CRIC. With Archbishop George Stack of Cardiff, The Papal Nuncio, Archbishop Angaelos of the Coptic Orthodox Church in the UK, The Spanish Ambassador, The Ambassador of Argentina, The Secretary of State for Wales, Ecumenical Guests, Cerys Matthews - MBE, and Huw Edwards from the BBC and Welsh broadcaster Guto Harr.
The Mass in thanksgiving for the Welsh Culture and Language, and its contribution to the Universal Church. Celebrate Offeren Gymraeg) will take place on Wednesday, 30 March at 7pm, at St James' Catholic Church, 23 George Street, Marylebone, London.
