One Man Show: Walking to Jerusalem

Acclaimed writer, director, actor and Palestinian activist, Justin Butcher, brings to life on stage his epic journey Walking to Jerusalem at the Rich Mix Theatre in Hackney this weekend.

In 2017, to mark the centenary of the Balfour Declaration, the fiftieth year of the Occupation of Palestinian Territories and the tenth year of the blockade of Gaza, Justin took part in a five-month pilgrimage on foot from London to Jerusalem, across eleven countries, three seas, mountains, rivers and soul-stirring landscapes from the green fields of Kent to the desert dust of Jordan …calling for equal rights in the Holy Land.

The show takes place on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 April at the Rich Mix theatre,,35-47 Bethnal Green Road, London E1 6LA
