Walk With Hope events for London Irish Centre
Various events will take place from Mon 6th - 11th June 2022 to mark the London Irish Centre Walk with Hope this year.
On Monday, 6th June, at 11.30am, Pat Gaffney will be leading a walk from the Peace Garden in the Peace Garden in the grounds of the Imperial War Museum, Lambeth Road, SE1 (near St George s RC Cathedral) to the Irish Embassy in Grosvenor Place.
The walk is approximately five miles in length and with stops and a lunch break and should take about three and a half hours. On route we will visit St George's Cathedral, St Bride's Church, Temple, Embankment Gardens andSt James's Park
Wear comfortable shoes and bring water and a packed lunch. There will be plenty of opportunities to drop in and out of the walk, to pick up public transport.
Nearest tube for the start of the walk is Lambeth North.

On Tuesday 7th June, starting at 11am, there will be a walk from Eversholt Street steps, Euston Station to the London Irish Centre. NW1 9XB in time for the 12 noon - Commemorative blessing of the new Irish Chaplaincy bench, in Camden Square park. Lunnch will follow in Kennedy Hall, at the London Irish Centre.

Wednesday 8 June
Picnic with Hope. An event with Caritas + other organisations. Meet at Westminster Cathedral at 12.30pm, then walk to St James Park for a bring and share picnic at 1pm.
Thursday 9th June
Nazareth House, Hammersmith to St John XXIII School, White City (approximately three miles) The day will start with Mass at Nazareth House at 10am. People will need to be at reception from 9.30-9.45am for a Covid test! Alternatively people can join the walk at 10.45am from the main entrance of Nazareth House. Bring your own lunch.
Friday 10th June
Afternoon tea at Holy Family school, West Acton.
