Bishop Lang to lead annual Glastonbury Pilgrimage
Clifton Diocese Annual Pilgrimage to Glastonbury will take place this Sunday 10 July, led by Bishop Declan Lang.
The theme of this year's pilgrimage is 'Mary, Queen of Peace'.
Once again this year, from 12 noon until 3pm, the Shrine Church will become a chapel of Exposition and Silent Adoration, providing a quiet and more contemplative environment immediately opposite the Abbey grounds.
From 12 noon until 3pm the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Private Healing Prayer will be offered in two separate tented chapels inside the Abbey gates, close to the church. There is free entry to the Abbey for those taking part in the pilgrimage.
The Rosary procession will start in the Abbey grounds at 2.15pm and the pilgrimage Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Declan at 3.30pm
If you are unable to attend the Pilgrimage, you will be able to watch the Mass live on the Diocesan website from 3.30pm.
