Official launch of London to Walsingham Camino

The official launch of the London to Walsingham Camino, and the publication of the accompanying guidebook, will take place on Saturday, 3 September 2022.
The schedule for the day includes three locations and a walk between them, in part along the ancient pilgrimage route.
Readers are welcome to attend one or more location, and to join author Andy Bull, who has led the revival of the path, on the walk between them, as you wish.

9.30-10.15am The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Farm Street
Pilgrim welcome from Fr Dominic Robinson, brief talk from Andy Bull about the history, and revival, of the London to Walsingham Camino. Book signing. Venue: Arrupe Hall, Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception, 114 Mount St, London W1K 3AH
10.15am-12.15 Walk to St Magnus the Martyr
Route via Green Park, St James's Park and South Bank (five miles approx)
12.15. Arrive at St Magnus the Martyr
The church (Lower Thames St, London EC3R 6DN), is the official start of the London to Walsingham Camino route, and will be open for us to visit the shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham and stamp our pilgrim passports. Passports are available from the Confraternity of St James (csj.org.uk)
12.30-1.30 Walk to the Royal Foundation of St Katharine
Via Thames path (two miles approx)
1.30 Pilgrim Welcome at the Royal Foundation of St Katharine
The Foundation, at 2 Butcher Row, London E14 8DS, which has been caring for pilgrims and others since 1174, is the London to Walsingham Camino accommodation partner in London.
Pilgrim welcome, short talk about the Foundation, stamping passports.
Tea and coffee, with further refreshments available at the Foundation's Yurt Cafe.
