London: Catholic Police Guild Consecration and Blessing
Corpus Christi Church in Maiden Lane, Covent Garden, WC2E 7NB, is being designated as the spiritual home for Catholics in policing in London in a special ceremony on Monday, 1st May, the Feast of St Joseph the Worker, after the 6.30pm Mass.
Everyone, whether in policing or not, is invited to join the Catholic Police Guild at Corpus Christi for the Consecration of the Guild in London to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. There will be a Re-Blessing of the Processional Banner of the Guild which will be installed the Shrine. During the ceremony the hymn O Sacred Heart, which was composed at this church, will be sung and call for prayers for the success of policing in London.
