Margaret Beaufort Institute of Theology: MA in Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care
Source: MBIT
The Margaret Beaufort Institute of Theology (MBIT) is offering an MA in Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care, in conjunction with the Cambridge Theological Federation and Anglia Ruskin University.
The first two modules (Modules of Chaplaincy and a Pastoral Placement) are designed to provide those working within Healthcare Chaplaincy to gain the academic requirements necessary for registration with UKHBC. However, the whole MA is designed for those working in Chaplaincy in the full range of settings: schools, prisons and for Pastoral Assistants working within parishes.
One of the highlights of the course is the opportunity to share experiences with others to reflect and ponder on where God is at work and being revealed in the varied pastoral ministries of the student cohort.
The MA provides practical tools and skills for those working in these areas as well as the opportunity to explore a variety of subjects at a deeper level.
