Middlesbrough: CAFOD director to give Anthony Storey Memorial Lecture

Christine Allen, Executive Director of CAFOD will give this year's Anthony Storey Memorial Lecture entitled: 'Signs of Hope in a Troubled World'.

Christine has been the Director of CAFOD since the spring of 2019. She had previously held leadership positions with Christian Aid and Progressio.

She brings a wealth of energy and experience to her work and plans to use the lecture to explore what it means to be a sign of hope at many different levels; and where we get our inspiration from to be signs of hope; whilst referencing the work of CAFOD- its supporters and partners and the wider influence of the church as a witness to hope.

We have again decided to arrange the lecture on Zoom and we are repeating last year's timing of a weekday evening which seemed to work well.
