Ooberfuse releases heartfelt anthem for World Refugee Day


Ooberfuse premiered their new song: Show Me Love' at Farm Street church in Mayfair recently - ahead of World Refugee Day which takes place on Tuesday 20 June.

Reviewing the song, Skylight Webzine writes: "Ooberfuse's ethereal pop anthem, 'Show Me Love,' featuring the mesmerizing vocals of Newroz Oremari, stands as a testament to the power of music in promoting unity and compassion.

"Released in honour of World Refugee Day, this captivating song not only showcases remarkable musicality but also serves as a heartfelt tribute to those who have been displaced."

There's a chance to see Ooberfuse performing live during the Refugee Week Vigil outside the Home Office on Monday 19 June at 12.30.

Names of refugees who have lost their lives trying to reach England will be read out. Bishop Paul McAleenan will give a reflection at this monthly event which is organised by Westminster Justice & Peace and London Catholic Worker.

Ooberfuse will be performing with Kurdish refugee folk singer Newroz Oremari. at the DISSIDENT club, 58 Rue Richer, 75009, Paris

On Saturday 24 June, Ooberfuse will be playing at St Mary's Church, Cannon St, Dover.
