Funeral arrangements for Fr Mark Leenane

The funeral arrangements for Fr Mark Leenane, parish priest of St Vincent de Paul church, Osterley, west London, who died on 6 July, have been announced by Mgr Martin Hayes, Vicar General of the Diocese of Westminster.

Mgr Hayes states: " Fr Mark's mortal remains will be received at St Vincent de Paul church at 3pm on Monday, 31 July. The church will remain open until 10pm.

"The Requiem Mass will be on Tuesday 1 August at 12noon. Cardinal Vincent Nichols will preside and the homily will be given by Bishop John Sherrington.

"Concelebrating priests are welcome, with alb and diocesan purple vestments, and are asked to inform the parish of their intention: osterley@rcdow.org.uk or telephone: 020 8560 4737."

Fr Mark's body will be taken to Dublin for a Requiem Mass followed by burial.

May the soul of Fr Mark rest in peace and rise in glory.
