Nottingham Cathedral Heritage Open Days: Restoring Pugin
With a special focus on the 'Restoring Pugin' project, there will be guided tours, expert talks, an exhibition of Cathedral treasures and family art workshops (including provision for families with additional needs) at Nottingham Cathedral's Heritage Open Days 2023, from 8-16 September. All are welcome.
The Cathedral will be open during its normal hours, subject to Cathedral services and special events. Materials will be available for people to conduct self-guided tours. On selected days guided tours will include the crypt, not normally open to the public, and a small exhibition of the cathedral's treasures, together with short pop-up talks presenting the Cathedral's art, architecture, music and stained glass. There will also be family art workshops held in the Cathedral Hall on Saturdays during this time.
The Cathedral is open daily between 8am - 6pm.
