London: Doctors to lead silent procession for Gaza ceasefire

Healthcare workers from across the UK will take part in a silent procession across Westminster Bridge to St Thomas' Hospital on Saturday, to call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

Speakers will include Dr Ghassan Abu-Sittah, Professor Mads Gilbert, HE Dr Husam Zomlot, head of the Palestinian Mission to the UK, Ben Jamal, Director of the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign, Dr Swee Ang, Orthopaedic Surgeon and co-founder of the charity Medical Aid for Palestinians and Professor Nick Maynard, Consultant Upper GI Surgeon.

The procession will take place at 2pm on Saturday 16 December on Westminster Bridge in front of St Thomas' Hospital, main entrance.
