Bishop to join Palm Sunday procession in north London

Once again this year - congregations from several churches will be gathering at the Manor House gates of Finsbury Park, north London, on Sunday, for the Ecumenical Blessing of Palms at 10am.

Bishop Nicholas Hudson will be joining parish priest Fr Clive Lee and parishioners from St Thomas More's Catholic church in a procession to the park befopre the service. After the prayers, all the church groups, led by William the Donkey and musicians , will process to their respective churches for their Palm Sunday services.

The first stop down Seven Sisters Road will be at Finsbury Park Methodist Church. From here they will proceed to St John the Evangelist Anglican Church, in Gloucester Drive. The procession will then walk to St Thomas More's church in Henry Road, where there will be a short blessing of palms before the 11am Mass.
