Joanna Lumley gives exclusive interview to student reporters

  • Jo Siedlecka

As well as being a brilliant actress and comedienne, Dame Joanna Lumley, has always devoted her energies to caring for others. Compassion in World Farming, Survival International, the Tibet Campaign, and the Ghurkas are just a few of the good causes she has supported. In this exclusive interview with Luke Burt and John Munoz Ospina, she speaks about her life - including describing a recent documentary she's made about hersearch for Noah's Ark.

This is just one of the fascinating articles in latest edition of Faith Matters, written by student journalists at St John Bosco College in Battersea under the guidance of managing editor Fr Andrew Ebrahim.

Other articles include a report on the history of Our Lady, Empress of China by Dann Yacob, an interview with Catholic Hong Kong artist Nelson Day by Beatriz Martins Esteves.

The Music Review page has an interview with counter tenor Jacob Joseph Orlinski, discussing the history of counter-tenors and his latest recordings. Continuing an Easter theme, besides a recipe and Word Search - Noad Samual has written an interesting piece on Hot Cross Buns. There's also a personal profile on Fr Gregory Echegwo, school chaplain and RE teacher describing what led to his vocation to the priesthood.
