Reflecting on Nakba, Embracing Pentecost
Source: Pax Christi International
Pax Christi International is inviting involvement in its, 'Reflecting on Nakba, Embracing Pentecost' campaign, from 15 - 19 May. It involves listening to voices of nonviolence from Palestine.
The Nakba of 1947-49 saw over 750,000 Palestinians driven from their homes into exile and over 500 towns and villages destroyed.
The campaign says: "Each voice we encounter in this campaign, every testimony we hear, shines as a beacon of light in a world too often clouded by conflict. These voices inspire us to strive for a future where peace reigns, and everyone is treated with dignity. Every inspiring testimony comes with practical steps, empowering you to make a real difference in your community and beyond." It is described as a "journey of reflection, advocacy, and unity."
Pax Christi International says: "Together we can amplify the voices of nonviolence from the Holy Land, paving the path for a world where peace and justice prevail."
