National March to urge new government to end the genocide stop arming Israel
This Saturday, campaigners will be marching through London to appeal to our new government to do all it can to end the genocide, stop arming Israel, ensure that aid and medical care reaches the people of Gaza and helps to bring them justice and peace.
Nearly 40,000 people - mostly children and women have now been killed in Gaza. Thousands more have suffered life-changing injuries. Thousands of children have been orphaned. Many more are missing. Aid agencies report more and deaths from hunger and disease. Observers fear the war is also spreading to other countries in the region.
The latest National March for Palestine starts in London on Saturday, 6 July at 12noon. Campaigners will meet in Russell Square at 12 noon.
Some Christian groups will be meeting outside Caffe Tropia in the Square. Other members of the 'Christian Bloc' are going to meet in nearby Bloomsbury Square Gardens.
A shorter route for people with children, wheelchairs etc, will assemble in Victoria Embankment Gardens at 1.30pm.
The march will end at Portcullis House.
